Q&A with Anna

Q: Why did you enter into a partnership with PREMIND®BIOTICS?

A: We share a common vision about preventing lifestyle diseases and supporting healthy aging and cognitive well-being throughout life.

Q: Have you tried PREMIND®BIOTICS products yourself?

A: I especially use PREMIND®BIOTICS during periods when I have less energy and tend to slack on good habits. When I take FOCUS and RO, I can feel a huge difference in my cognitive performance; I can handle and juggle a multitude of inputs and changes that previously would have "blown" all my fuses.

Q: Have you always trained and been as strong as you are now?

A: When I was a teenager, I hated all sports because I wasn't good at it. But then I discovered weightlifting, and I could do that, so I started training a lot – way too much! At the same time, I got a great job as a project manager, but said yes to far too much and ended up completely burning out from stress.

Q: How did you recover from your experience with stress?

A: I educated myself in stress coaching, functional neurology, and personal training, among other things – and discovered that many women have the same experience: they train too hard, develop pain and burn out from stress, but keep pushing themselves to continue.

Q: Why is it so important for women to do strength training?

A: Our sedentary lifestyle means we lose muscle mass earlier and earlier in life, and only one thing can help: strength training. It needs to be intense training where you lift heavy, but only for a short time and not to exhaustion – that's what I try to teach the women who train in my online programs. Spinning, running, and thousands of repetitions with far too light dumbbells don't prevent muscle loss and often take more energy than they give.

Q: Why did you create "En Stærk Sag" (A Strong Case)?

A: It's difficult to create lasting results with the classic 'we train together physically three times a week' approach. It's important that you experience a degree of self-mastery when strength training, and you don't achieve that optimally when you just show up to training and do what the trainer says.

Q: What drives you to change women's mindset and approach to training?

A: Far too many women go through life in first gear, treading water – without knowing how much more they could actually achieve in a higher gear. It's insane that our approach to women's health is that we should be as thin as possible. We're squandering our most important health savings, our muscle mass, in our attempts to maintain a slim figure with methods that aren't sustainable.
